Actually, the reason is I thought the "allowed operations" are limited - in the first three I only did stuff I can actually do quite percisely without resorting to any measurements - only connecting points and continuing lines which already appear in the picture. (I had a different solution for number 3 which follows these rules). Of course if you're allowed to measure the distance and divide by 5, number 4 is super-easy, but I didn't think I was allowed.
